Danielle Pinney is a postgraduate in the Creative Writing MSt at the University of Cambridge.

She has been named an Edward Villella Fellow (2019) and a Thomas J. Watson Fellow (2022-23). Danielle has also performed in Jason Derulo’s music video “Glad U Came,” in Rai Linea Verde’s Pizzica Dance TV special, and in Maia Reficco’s music video “sur,” out now.

Most recently, she was the designated Artist-in-Residence at Bryn Du Mansion in Granville, Ohio. In residency, Danielle conducted research at the intersection of contemporary dance and writing to consider how place informs movement. Her research culminated in a short poetry collection and a screendance short, which she produced in collaboration with Emmy-winning director Emmai Alaquiva.

Danielle is currently based between New York and London, UK.
